Add Captions to a Rap Video — Free SRT & VTT Tool
Make readable captions for a rap video using the words you actually hear. Add timed lines, preview them with a local video, and download a subtitle file. This is a manual editor; it does not recognize speech or alter your MP4.
Create timed rap captions
Manual text and timing. Nothing is uploaded or saved after reloading. Download your subtitles before leaving.
Enter 1–250 characters for every caption. Arrow separators and control characters are not allowed.
Listen first, then write short caption lines
Listen to the complete performance before typing. Generated vocals may differ from the words you expected. Transcribe what is audible, mark uncertain words for your own review and avoid presenting a guessed line as a verified lyric. Keep each caption short enough to read at playback speed.
Set start and end times in seconds
Use the player to locate each line, then enter its start and end times. Captions must have a positive duration and run in chronological order without overlap. This editor supports up to 200 cues across 10 minutes. For a 12-second Rapsona clip, keep every cue within the actual clip duration.
Preview and export SRT or WebVTT
Choose a local MP4 or WebM under 100 MB to preview captions, subject to your browser’s codec support. Select the caption track in the player if needed. Download SRT for editors that accept SubRip, or VTT for web players. Import the file into your chosen editor to burn captions into a new video if your publishing platform requires it.
Keep the video and captions private until ready
The local video and typed captions stay in this browser tab. The tool does not upload them, save them to your account or persist them after a reload. Download your subtitle file before leaving. Exporting a subtitle file does not publish the video or establish permission to share it.
Make captions part of the final quality check
Replay the video from beginning to end with captions enabled. Check timing, spelling and line breaks, and keep text away from faces and platform interface overlays when styling it in your editor. Add an AI-generation disclosure when sharing the fictional performance.
Questions about this workflow
Does Rapsona automatically generate subtitles?
This tool uses manual text and timing. It does not transcribe vocals automatically, and it does not add burned-in subtitles to the video file.
Can I add captions without signing in?
Yes. The local caption tool does not require an account, upload or payment. Video generation is a separate paid service with its own eligibility and safety checks.
Why can’t I see captions in my downloaded MP4?
The tool exports a separate SRT or VTT file and leaves your original video unchanged. Import the subtitle file into a compatible editor or player.
