Find a joke both sides can enjoy

A diss track generator can start with a small, recognizable habit: arriving with too many snacks, naming every houseplant or treating a board game like a championship. Choose a subject the other person would find funny too. The current demo produces simulated text, not a recorded track.

Give the roast a friendly boundary

Describe the joke without adding secrets or allegations. A nickname is optional. Avoid threats, identity-based insults and claims about a real person’s conduct. If the joke needs someone to feel unsafe or exposed, choose another subject.

Build a punchline from a detail

Start with the habit, exaggerate it in a clearly playful way and end on the surprise. “You bring a suitcase to a picnic” gives a writer more to work with than “make this person look bad.” Keep the joke about an action, not a person’s worth.

Keep the tone consistent

A gentle roast can still have confidence and rhythm. Choose one mood and remove lines that suddenly become cruel. A short, specific joke usually lands better than a long sequence of generic insults.

Review before you share

Read the draft from the target’s point of view. Remove private details and anything that could be mistaken for an accusation. Permission to use a name or photograph is separate from whether a joke is suitable for a public audience.

Try a low-stakes prompt

Try: “A friendly roast of a fictional roommate who labels everything in the fridge.” Keep the subject clear and the stakes small. Change the habit or the setting to create a different draft without escalating the insult.

A lyric draft is not an audio track

This tool’s current output is text. It does not include a real vocal recording, artist imitation or finished diss song. Check the separate song and video pages if you are exploring another format.

Choose a battle for two points of view

Use a rap battle when you want both fictional sides to answer each other. Use a roast when one speaker delivers a playful verse about one habit. Keeping those formats separate makes the writing easier to follow.

Questions before you take the mic.

Does the diss track generator make audio?

The current demo is a text-writing workflow. Recorded vocals and video are separate capabilities.

Can I roast a real friend?

Keep it consensual, lighthearted and about harmless habits. Do not include private information or unverified accusations.

Do I need a nickname?

No. A fictional role or a simple description is enough to establish the subject.

What makes a useful roast prompt?

One specific habit, a playful tone and a short setting give the draft direction without relying on personal attacks.

Can I change the punchlines?

Yes. Review and edit the draft before saving it. Remove anything you would not be comfortable saying directly to the person.

Keep the idea going
